... A little light snow and slushy roads overnight...

A band of light snow... mixed with some light rain and drizzle...
continued to move very slowly east across the area early this
morning. By 5 am the leading edge of the precipitation is now
expected to be near a Medford and Viroqua Wisconsin to Oelwein
Iowa line.

Most snow amounts are expected to be 1/2 inch or less. However...
with temperatures hovering near or just above 32... some slushy
accumulations are possible on roads. The greater threat of slush
covered roads is west and north of La Crosse where the light snow
has been more persistent.

If traveling early this morning... be alert for slippery spots and
stretches on untreated roads. Slow down and allow some extra time
to safely reach your destination.
