Wind Chill Advisory
Issued: 3:30 PM CST Feb. 10, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to 10 am
CST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Wind Chill
Advisory... which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 10 am CST
Thursday.

* Wind chill values... expect wind chills to range from 25 to 35
below zero mainly along the higher terrain of the North Shore
and the Iron Range.

* Impacts... the cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as
little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
