Rain has ended across the Twin City Metro area and most of central and northern Minnesota...since 1000 PM. A line of strong thunderstorms with hail continues to develop over parts of northwest Iowa...and southern Minnesota near I-90 and Fairmont...then up to Minnesota Lake...New Richland...Ellendale and Blooming Prairie in south central Minnesota...roughly 45 to 100 miles south of the Twin City Metro area...moving towards the Mississippi River to the between Red Wing and La Crosse Wisconsin. This line will move east of Albert Lea between 1230 and 130 am. Intense rains are likely with some hail around the big storms...while overall rainfall amounts have been light and are expected to remain that way through the evening.
