... Flash Flood Watch in effect until 1 PM CDT this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Twin Cities/Chanhassen has
expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of southeast Minnesota
and Wisconsin... including the following areas... in southeast
Minnesota... Goodhue. In Wisconsin... Barron... Dunn... Pierce...
Polk and St. Croix.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* 2 to 4 inches of rain are likely across southeast Minnesota and
west central Wisconsin... with localized amounts of 5 inches
possible.

* Flash flooding of low lying areas... creeks... streams... and
urban areas is possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
