The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
southeastern Page County in southwestern Iowa...

* until 130 PM CDT Wednesday

* at 724 am CDT... the river gage on the east Nodaway river east of
Clarinda was reporting levels about 4.5 feet above flood stage.
This is due to runoff from the heavy rain in the past 24 hours.
This is an extension of the previous area Flood Warning.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
rural areas east and south of Clarinda.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
