Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 11:55 PM CST Feb. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 3 am CST Tuesday...

* timing... scattered flurries and occasional wind gusts of 35 to
40 mph will linger into the overnight hours... producing areas
of blowing snow. Both the winds and flurries are expected to
ease by 3 am.

* Accumulations... no additional snow accumulation is expected.

* Wind and visibility... northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with
gusts to 40 mph at times. Brief periods of reduced visibility
and slick driving conditions will continue.

* Impacts... travel may be difficult.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
