... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST
Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* lake effect snow will intensify between 10 PM and midnight
   and continue to fall moderately into Friday morning. Light to
   moderate snow will then continue through Friday night.

* Northwest winds will increase up to 40 mph through Friday...
   leading to increased blowing snow and reduced visibilities to
   one half mile or less.

* Snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected near Lake
   Superior tonight... with an additional 2 to 5 inches Friday
   and Friday night. The least snow will fall away from Lake
   Superior.

* Wind chill readings will be as low as 25 below zero starting
   Friday morning and continuing through Friday night.

Impacts...

* roads will become snow covered and slippery.

* Blowing snow will reduce visibilities to one mile or less at
   times... especially on Friday near Lake Superior.

* Wind chill values to 25 below zero can lead to frost bite on
   exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes.
