... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST
Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* light to moderate lake effect snow will continue through
   tonight.

* Northwest winds will continue to gust to 30 mph through this
   evening... leading to blowing snow and reduced visibilities to
   one half mile or less.

* Additional snow accumulations this afternoon through tonight
   of 4 to 8 inches can be expected for locations north of a
   line from Chicago Lake to McMillan. Southeast of that line...
   additional snow accumulations will range from around 1 to 4
   inches. Locations southwest of McFarland to Nahma junctions
   are expected to see an inch or less through tonight.

* Wind chill readings will be as low as 25 below zero this
   afternoon through tonight.

Impacts...

* snow covered roads will be slippery.

* Blowing snow will reduce visibilities to one half mile or
   less at times.

* Wind chill values to 25 below zero can lead to frost bite on
   exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes.
