... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM EST this
evening...

Hazardous weather...

* snow will continue into this afternoon before tapering off.

* Total snowfall of 1 to 4 inches of snow is expected.

* A mix of snow... sleet and freezing rain is expected south of
   the U.S. 10 corridor.

* Freezing drizzle will develop this afternoon as the
   precipitation begins to taper off and continue into this
   evening.

Impacts...

* slippery travel will continue into the evening due to the
   mixture of precipitation.

* Travel speeds will be slowed due to snow covered roads and in
   some areas sleet and a glaze of ice.
