Special Statement
Statement as of 3:44 PM PDT on August 31, 2015

... Snow showers expected above 5500 feet Wednesday through
Friday...

A large cool upper level low will move down over western
Washington this week. Mountain snow levels will lower to 5500 to
6000 feet Wednesday through Friday. During this period areas of
showers will move across the region... which could drop a few
inches of snow over higher mountain elevations.

This is a rather cold weather system for the end of Summer so back
country travellers should be prepared for unusually early Fall-
like weather.
