... Driest November on record set at Paducah Kentucky... After a record setting wettest October in Paducah... with 10.55 inches of rainfall... the month of November pulled a big switch on the area. November of 2009 recorded only 0.56 inches of rainfall... breaking the old record of 0.79 inches set 60 years ago... in 1949. The average rainfall for November is 4.53 inches. During November 2009... measurable rain occurred on 6 days... with no rain occurring at all during the first 15 days of the month.
