Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 3:16 PM CST Feb. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday...

* locations... portions of northwest Wisconsin... including the
cities of Washburn... Bayfield... Ashland... Mellen... Hurley...
and Mercer.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches.

* Timing... the period of most intense snowfall will be from 8 PM
tonight through 6 am Monday.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Visibilities... reduced to less than one mile at times in snow
and blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas that are more exposed to the wind. Roads may be slick and
hazardous... so allow extra time to reach your destination.
