Issued: 9:43 PM EST Feb. 12, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 am EST Sunday...

* wind chill... wind chills will dip below minus 10to minus 15
tonight. Wind chills may briefly climb above minus 10 on
Saturday but will fall back below minus 10 Saturday night.

* Impacts... dangerous wind chills can result in frostbite or
hypothermia in minutes. Frigid temperatures could freeze water
pipes.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Temperatures... lows tonight from zero to 5 above with highs
Saturday from 10 to 15 degrees. Lows Saturday night could be
as cold as minus 10 at traditional cold spots.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... a Wind Chill Advisory is
issued when strong wind will combine with cold temperatures to
create dangerously cold conditions for exposed skin. The wind
will make it feel like it is 10 degrees below zero or colder for
a period of several hours. If you will be outdoors use common
sense and dress warmly... making sure that all exposed skin is
covered. Stay tuned to weather radio for further details or
updates.
