Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 2:44 PM CST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to 9 PM
CST Tuesday...

* timing... snow will develop tonight and taper off Tuesday
afternoon... as northwest winds increase behind a cold front.
The strong winds will produce areas of blowing snow through
Tuesday evening.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 4 inches.

* Winds/visibility... wind gusts around 35 mph will produce areas
of blowing snow and visibilities less than one mile in open
areas.

* Impacts... travel will be difficult. The morning rush may be
significantly impacted by the snow and the afternoon rush may be
impacted by the blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
