Issued: 2:43 PM MST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11 PM this evening to
11 PM MST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... strong winds and blowing snow... which
is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Monday.

* Impacts... the combination of accumulating snowfall and strong
winds will make travel and outdoor recreation difficult over the
Bighorn Mountains. Travel on Highway 14 through Burgess Junction
will be impacted.

* Timing... snow will develop late tonight and continue into Monday
evening. The snow will be heavy at times. Winds will become very
strong on Monday.

* Winds... gusts of 50 to 60 mph.

* Snow accumulation... 5 to 9 inches.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory can be issued for a variety of winter
weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow... sleet...
freezing rain... and extreme wind chills.
