... Freeze warning remains in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am
EDT Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Burlington continues the freeze
warning... from midnight tonight to 8 am EDT Saturday.

* Locations... the northern Adirondacks and the Saint Lawrence
valley in northern New York. Eastern and northeast Vermont... including
the western slopes of the Green Mountains.

* Hazards... widespread sub-freezing temperatures.

* Temperatures... lows in the upper 20s to around 30.

* Timing... temperatures across the warning area will fall below
freezing after midnight... and warm back above freezing shortly
after sunrise on Saturday.

* Impacts... damage to sensitive plants and vegetation is likely
if left unprotected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
