... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight EST
tonight...
... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from midnight tonight to
10 am EST Sunday...

* hazard types... low wind chill readings and the potential for
heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 12 inches... with as
much as 18 inches on the islands of Penobscot Bay.

* Wind chill... as low as 24 below due to temperatures 5 below to
1 above zero... and winds northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up
to 25 mph.

* Timing... snow continues into this evening... before ending around
midnight. Low wind chills are expected tonight and Sunday
morning.

* Impacts... snow covered and slick roads are expected on
Saturday. Frostbite and hypothermia if unprotected from the
cold. Lower visibilities in blowing snow are expected also.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Temperatures... 5 below to 10 above zero.
