Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 4:02 AM EST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 PM this evening to
3 PM EST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and freezing rain... which is in effect
from 7 PM this evening to 3 PM EST Sunday.

* Hazard types... snow and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches... along with
one to two hundredths of ice is expected.

* Timing... light snow will develop this evening. Snow will become
steadier late tonight. Snow will mix with freezing rain early
Sunday morning. As temperatures warm... precipitation will become
a rain snow mix which will then change to all rain Sunday
afternoon.

* Impacts... travel difficulties are expected due to reduced
visibilities and snow and ice accumulations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of
snow or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared
for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution
while driving. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite
source of information for the latest updates. Additional details
can also be found at www.Weather.Gov/iln... as well as on our
facebook and twitter pages.
