Thursday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Thursday.

* Timing: moderate to heavy snow will continue into the overnight
hours. The snows will taper off from northwest to southeast
through daybreak.

* Main impact: snow accumulations will generally range from 6 to
12 inches across the region. Gusty north winds will cause
significant snow drifts.

* Other impacts: roads throughout the region have become slick
and hazardous. Travel is strongly discouraged tonight.
