Statement as of 12:51 PM MDT on April 25, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to
noon MDT Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for heavy snow... which is in effect from midnight
tonight to noon MDT Sunday.

* Summary and timing... mixed rain and snow showers will begin
after midnight... turning to all snow by 2 am. Snow will be
heaviest early Sunday morning around sunrise.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches with the more significant
accumulations expected above 7000 feet.

* Wind and visibility... east to northeast 5 to 15 mph. Visibility
will be reduced to less than a mile at times in heavier snow showers.

* Impacts... travel is expected to be impacted beginning early
Sunday morning with slick and slushy conditions. Travelers are
urged to allow extra time for travel and to check Road
conditions and restrictions at wyoroad dot info.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and blowing
snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
