... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 am Sunday to 5 PM MST
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
from 5 am Sunday to 5 PM MST Monday.

* Impacts/timing... snow spreading across the eastern Highlands
Sunday morning and tapering off late Monday afternoon. Southwest
winds gusting as high as 35 mph may result in blowing and
drifting snow over the higher passes and ridge tops... especially
on Monday.

* Snow accumulations... total accumulations of 6 to 12 inches above
7000 ft... and 3 to 6 inches at the lower elevations.

* Locations... St. Anthony... Ashton... Driggs... Victor... Teton Pass.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
