Issued: 1:36 AM CST Feb. 13, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 8 am CST this
morning...

* short term trends... wind chill values continue to hover near 20
below across much of the region early this Saturday morning.
Over the next few hours as outside temperatures drop... wind
chills will approach 25 below between 4 am and 6 am across the
region.

* Winds... northwest at 5 to 15 mph.

* Temperatures/wind chill values... temperatures will fall well
below zero and wind chill values will drop into the 20 below
to 30 below range.

* Impacts... those with interests outdoors should dress warmly
and cover exposed skin... as frostbite and hypothermia are
possible if the proper precautions are not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

gloves.
