... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 PM this evening to
7 am EST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 7 PM this
evening to 7 am EST Wednesday.

* Hazard types... snow.

* Snow accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 6 inches over a
36 hour period. Some settling and melting of fallen snow is
expected to occur during the advisory period.

* Timing... snow will be around for most of the week with varying
intensity.

* Impacts... travel may be difficult at times. Visibilities will
be limited at times.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
