Special Statement
Issued: 3:30 PM CST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Light to briefly moderate snow to end or diminish to mostly flurries
by 6 PM... .

Areas of light to briefly moderate snow with additional snow accumulation
rates of up to a quarter inch an hour will diminish from west to east
by 6 PM. Additional snow totals of a quarter inch to locally half
inch are possible by 6 PM. After 6 PM... light flurries and very light
snow may still be possible at times early this evening... mostly well
east of the Mississippi River.

Motorists should be prepared for slick roadways as most roads remain
partially or totally snow covered and hazardous with temperatures still
around.

Visibilities will be reduced to less than a mile in the heavier snowfall
so slow down and use extra caution. Southeast winds gusting to around
20 mph may cause localized minor drifting of the snow.
