... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon MST
Tuesday...

* affected area... the Wasatch front and Cache Valley as well as
the Wasatch Mountain valleys.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 4 inches along the Wasatch front and
Cache Valley with 4 to 8 inches along the benches and across
the Wasatch Mountain valleys.

* Timing... periods of snow this evening will diminish for a time
overnight before increasing in coverage and intensity early
Tuesday morning. Snow is expected to taper off by late morning.

* Impacts... slushy accumulations are expected along the benches
and Wasatch Mountain valleys through this evening. Accumulating
snow on roadways is expected early Tuesday morning which will
likely impact the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.
