... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am EST /9 am
CST/ Monday...

* accumulations... 3 to 5 inches... with locally higher amounts.

* Timing... moderate to occasionally heavy snow will spread from
west to east early this afternoon. Precipitation will taper to
drizzle this evening.

* Main impact... snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be
possible at times this afternoon. Travel will be hazardous as
even treated primary roads will become snow covered.

* Other impacts... there is a chance of a brief period of
freezing drizzle late Sunday night before transitioning to
drizzle or rain Monday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous.
