* From this evening to Thursday evening... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 11:15 am Wednesday the stage was 16.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
rise to near 20.8 feet by tomorrow morning.The river will fall
below flood stage by tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact... at 20.0 feet... small communities around lock 3 area begin
minor flooding.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise
to near 28.8 feet by tomorrow morning.The river will fall below
flood stage by tomorrow early afternoon.
* Impact... at 29.0 feet... navigation suspended, lock out of service.

* Flood Warning for...
Washington County in southwest Pennsylvania...

* until 200 PM EST Wednesday

* emergency management reported flooding on many roads through out
the County from heavy rain last night and snow melt.

* Roadways in the Cecil and Canton Township were reported closed due
to flooding. Roads around Ellsworth were also reported closed.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

* Until 7 PM EST this evening
