northern Montgomery County in north central Mississippi...

* until 930 am CDT

* at 629 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. 2 to 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Winona... Kilmichael... North Carrollton... Seven Pines... Coila...
Lodi... Malmaison and Carrollton.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area.

Bolivar... Carroll... Choctaw... Clay... Grenada... Holmes...
Humphreys... Leflore... Lowndes... Montgomery... Noxubee...
Oktibbeha... Sunflower... Washington... Webster and Winston.

* Through this evening

* showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall are expected
today... especially through midday. Localized rainfall accumulations
of several inches are possible in a short period of time. Some of
