... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Wednesday afternoon through
Thursday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through
Thursday afternoon.

* Hazard types... potential heavy snow Wednesday into Thursday.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches.

* Timing... rain will transition to snow from mid morning Wednesday
into Wednesday afternoon and then increase in intensity
Wednesday evening. The snow will remain across the area
Wednesday night into Thursday morning before diminishing
Thursday afternoon.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions are expected due to
reduced visibilities and snow accumulations.

snow pack. The fog will reduce visibilities below a quarter mile in
isolated locations through this evening. Travelers are advised to
use extra caution in the patchy fog.
