... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 4 PM this
afternoon to 4 PM PST Saturday...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect from 4 PM
this afternoon to 4 PM PST Saturday.

* Timing: snow showers will begin this afternoon and intensify
tonight into Saturday.

* Snow accumulations: 2 to 4 inches at lake level with 4 to 8
inches above 7000 feet. Locally higher amounts of 4 to 8 inches
at lake level with 12 or more inches above 7000 feet in heavier
showers.

* Confidence: low confidence for location of heaviest snow
although the South Lake Tahoe and Stateline areas are favored at
this time.

* Impacts: snow will create slick and icy roads with the worst
conditions likely Friday evening into Saturday morning. This
includes Interstate 80... and highways 50... 89... 88...
431... and 267.

Snow is expected to pose an inconvenience to travelers. Roads
will become slick and hazardous... with snow and ice first
