eastern Pontotoc County in northeastern Mississippi...
Lee County in northeastern Mississippi...
southern Tishomingo County in northeastern Mississippi...

* until midnight CDT Saturday

* at 553 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated that 6 to 10 inches of
rain has already fallen in the warned area. Several roads are
closed in Pontotoc County due to flooding. Other areas in the
warned area are likely flooding as well. Any additional rainfall
that occurs this evening will only make flooding worse. A Flood
Watch remains in effect for the warned area.
