The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at Napoleon.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 2:00 PM Sunday the stage was 18.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 23.5 feet by
Monday evening. The river will fall below flood stage late Thursday
morning.
* At 17.0 feet... low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin to
flood.

the Missouri River at Sibley.
* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 1:22 PM Sunday the stage was 21.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
rise to near 26.1 feet by Monday evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by Wednesday afternoon.
* At 22.0 feet... low-lying rural areas along the river and outside of
levee protection flood.

* until 500 PM CDT Sunday

* at 1055 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
an area of moderate to locally heavy rainfall moving into the
Kansas City Metro. Additional afternoon rainfall totals of up to
three quarters of an inch on top of already saturated soils may
lead to localized poor drainage flooding throughout the Kansas
City Metro this afternoon.

* Runoff from this rainfall will cause minor flooding to occur...
especially along small streams and near low water crossings. Some
