night and Thursday morning...

An Arctic front will bring much colder air into the eastern
Tennessee Valley and southern Appalachians Wednesday night... which
will bring some light wintry precipitation to the region through
Thursday morning. Some light ice accumulations are possible
throughout the area after midnight... before a change over to snow
will occur after daybreak Thursday. Ice accretion up to one-tenth of
an inch... along with 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet is possible
along the Cumberland Plateau and the Cumberland mountains of
southwest Virginia. Elsewhere across the valley and Blue Ridge
mountains... very light snow and sleet accumulations of less than 1
inch are expected.
