Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 8:21 PM EDT on July 29, 2015

The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southwestern Rhea County in east Tennessee...
central Bledsoe County in east Tennessee...
southwestern Meigs County in east Tennessee...
northeastern Hamilton County in east Tennessee...

* until 1115 PM EDT/1015 PM CDT/

* at 820 PM EDT /720 PM CDT/... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due
to thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding
in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dayton... Soddy-Daisy... Graysville... Brayton... Evensville... Sale
Creek and Birchwood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
