... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM MST this
afternoon...

* locations include the cities of... Ouray... Telluride... Lake
City... Silverton... Rico... Hesperus.

* Timing... snow showers will persist through the afternoon... then
diminish during the evening and overnight.

* Snow accumulation... an additional 1 to 2 inches area possible.

* Winds... southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Impacts... travel will continue to be difficult this afternoon
and possible through the nighttime hours.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. Strong winds and blowing snow are also
