* locations... along the western slopes from southeast West
Virginia and the mountain Empire of Virginia... to the Grayson
Highlands of Virginia and the mountains of North Carolina.

* Hazard types... snow and blowing snow... strong gusty winds...
and very low wind chills.

* Accumulations... another inch.

* Timing... snow showers tapering off this morning. Very low wind
chills through Sunday morning.

* Impacts... snow and blowing snow creating slick roads and areas
of reduced visibility. Very low wind chill values may lead to
hypothermia and frostbite.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 or 55 mph... locally
higher along the highest ridges across the North Carolina
mountains.

* Temperatures... teens to single digits.

* Wind chill readings... 5 to 15 below zero.
