The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southern Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...

* until 1115 am CDT

* at 809 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across
southern Mobile County. Radar indicates that 2 to 3 inches of rain
may have already fallen in and near the advisory area.

Excessive runoff from heavy rains may cause minor flooding of
small streams and urban areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bayou La Batre... Belle Fontaine and Coden.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
