... Wind Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST
Wednesday...
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST
Wednesday.
Breezy conditions will develop around a strong low pressure
system tonight into Wednesday. Sustained winds will be between 15
and 20 mph... gradually subsiding late Wednesday afternoon. A few
wind gusts up to 35 mph are possible.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds more than 20 mph... or
wind gusts greater than 30 mph... are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
