Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 3:49 PM CDT on May 28, 2015

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Oklahoma and Texas... including the following
areas... in Oklahoma... Beaver. In Texas... Armstrong... Carson...
Collingsworth... Deaf Smith... Donley... gray... Hemphill...
Lipscomb... Ochiltree... Oldham... Potter... Randall... Roberts and
Wheeler.

* Through Friday morning

* thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are expected to move east across
the panhandles through tonight. Heavy rain on already saturated
ground will only elevate the flash flood potential.

* Flash flooding may be found across low water crossings and in
low spots. Flash flooding will also be possible along roads
where water is flowing out of adjacent fields.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
