... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 11 PM this evening
to 10 am EST Sunday...

* locations... along the western slopes from southeast West
Virginia and the mountain Empire of Virginia... to the Grayson
Highlands of Virginia and the mountains of North Carolina.

* Hazard types... snow and blowing snow... strong gusty winds...
and very low wind chills.

* Accumulations... another 1 to 3 inches with locally higher
amounts.

* Timing... snow showers continuing through tonight. Very low wind
chills tonight through Sunday morning.

* Impacts... snow and blowing snow creating slick roads and areas
of reduced visibility. Very low wind chill values may lead to
hypothermia and frostbite.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 or 55
mph... locally higher along the highest ridges across the North
Carolina mountains.
