The Flood Warning continues for
the Caney river near Collinsville.
* Until this afternoon, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:30 am Tuesday, the stage was 27.08 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring but the river is falling.
* Forecast... the Caney river near Collinsville will continue falling
to below flood stage by this morning.
* Impact... at 27.0 feet, minor agricultural flooding occurs. County
roads north of Collinsville may be covered with water.

* at 1130 am CDT... rainfall had ended across the warned area however
additional rainfall is expected from late this afternoon through
the evening hours. An additional inch... with local amounts of 2 to
3 inches... are possible with the evening and overnight rains.
Many secondary roads remain flooded and streams and rivers are
flooded. Additionally... the previous heavy rains have left
conditions prone for rapid onset flash flooding. Be ready to
act should flash flood warnings be issued for your area.

* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flooding to occur.
