Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:51 AM EST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 am EST this
morning...

* locations... the northern Piedmont and northern coastal plain
including The Triad and Triangle.

* Hazard types... areas of black ice.

* Timing... through late this morning.

* Impacts... freezing of meltwater will create areas of black
ice. The refreezing of the ice and snow pack will result in
tricky travel and walking conditions. Be extremely cautions on
area roads... streets... sidewalks... parking lots... steps
and even on interstates... especially the bridges...
overpasses... and ramps.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

If you must travel this morning... stay alert for black ice... slow
down... and leave plenty of following distance.
