Through 4 PM CDT...an area of showers with an embedded thunderstorm or two will move across the extreme western Oklahoma Panhandle. This area is moving northeast around 20 mph. An area of stronger thunderstorms is beginning to develop over the southwest Texas Panhandle near the New Mexico state line and along a frontal boundary just south of Amarillo. These storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall and may produce strong gusty winds and small dime to nickel sized hail. These storms will also move to the northeast around 20 mph.
