The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Los Alamos County in north central New Mexico...
east central Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...
northwestern Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...

* until 130 PM MDT

* at 1137 am MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms over western portions of Los
Alamos and the Las Conchas burn scar. Rain gages and Doppler radar
indicated from one half inch to three quarters of an inch has
fallen in portions of this area... with additional heavy rainfall
possible. This will impact urban drainages and canyons around Los
Alamos County and eventually toward bandelier.

* Locations impacted include...
Los Alamos... White Rock... Bandelier National Monument... Frijoles
and San Ildefonso Pueblo.

Other locations affected include the following locations
Pajarito Mountain ski area... Buckman river White Rock Canyon... and
Bandelier National Monument.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Runoff from rainfall will cause elevated water levels within
vulnerable drainages in and downstream of the Las Conchas fire burn
area.

* at 1117 am MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms over the upper reaches of Santa
Clara Canyon. Rain gages and Doppler radar has indicated from one
half inch to three quarters of an inch has fallen in the area...
with additional heavy rainfall likely. Fast and high flows are
likely in Santa Clara ceek... Rio del Oso... and Canones creek.

* Locations impacted include...
Santa Clara Pueblo... Chili and Medanales.
