A band of showers and thunderstorms continued moving onshore areas from Tampa Bay north to Cedar Key...and inland across Sumter County. The strongest showers and storms will affect most of Citrus County and parts of southern Levy and northern Hernando County. Expect 1 to 2 inch rainfall rates...strong gusty winds to 30 mph...and heavy downpours. Occasional lightning will occur in the strongest storms. The activity was moving east and northeast at 25 mph.
