A band of showers and thunderstorms continued moving onshore areas from Tampa Bay to Crystal River...and inland across Sumter County. The strongest showers and storms will affect much of Citrus and northern Sumter County. Another band of showers and thunderstorms was located offshore from Clearwater Beach to 50 miles off Pinellas County. Expect rough seas...1 inch rainfall rates per hour...strong gusty winds to 30 mph...and heavy downpours. Occasional lightning will occur in the strongest storms. The activity was moving east and northeast at 25 mph.
