east central Quay County in east central New Mexico...

* until 145 am MDT

* at 1150 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. The area from San Jon to near
Glen Rio will observe 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.

* Locations impacted include...
San Jon and Bard.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 355 and 373.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to tell how much
water is on the Road... do not drive through
fast moving water of unknown depth.

very heavy rain associated with slow moving thunderstorms across
the east Central Plains of New Mexico between Tucumcari and Fort
Sumner. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be common with
these storms.

Tucumcari... Quay... Logan... house... Tolar... Taiban... Ragland...
Wheatland... McAlister and Forrest.
