Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 7:11 AM EST on March 02, 2015

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 10 am EST this morning.

* Visibility... visibilities will be one quarter mile or less.

* Impacts... dense fog will create dangerous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead
of you.

Special Statement
Statement as of 5:37 AM EST on March 02, 2015

... Areas of dense fog this morning...

Areas of dense fog will reduce the visibility down to less than a
quarter of a mile or less at times until around 9 am this morning.
Most visibilities being reported are between a quarter and a half
of a mile. Motorists should slow down and be on the alert for
sudden reductions in visibilites. Navigation along the St Johns
River and nearby Atlantic will be hazardous until the fog lifts.
The fog may linger an hour or two longer along the river and
coast.
