A bowing line of thunderstorms will continue to move eastward into northeast Texas. The line of thunderstorms is just south of Dallas... extending into Rice and Corsicana. Gusty winds...dangerous lightning and brief heavy rainfall will be possible. Also...a cold front is moving in the back door across Arkansas into Mount Pleasant...Gilmer and Shreveport. Expect additional showers and isolated thunderstorm develop along the front through the overnight. Rainfall amounts will be around a half inch to an inch from this line and will be near Tyler and Jacksonville by 2 am.

Statement as of 1:25 AM CDT on April 27, 2015

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
western Louisiana
southern and eastern Texas

* effective this Monday morning from 125 am until 900 am CDT.

* Primary threats include...
a couple tornadoes possible
scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75
    mph possible
isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

Summary... two TX squall lines... one now centered in the Corsicana
area and the other around San Antonio... should continue generally E
or ESE through sunrise... .accompanied by a continuing risk for
damaging wind... tornadoes... and occasionally large hail.

The Tornado Watch area is approximately along and 75 statute
miles east and west of a line from 15 miles north of Shreveport
Louisiana to 20 miles west southwest of Beeville Texas. For a

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements

Flood Warning
Statement as of 9:05 AM CDT on April 26, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River near Mineola.
* Until Wednesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:15 am Sunday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by late this morning and continue
to rise to near 14.8 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall
below flood stage by Tuesday early afternoon.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... expect flooding of secondary roadways with
picnic and recreational areas flooded as well.
