Areal Flood Warning
Statement as of 1:17 AM CDT on April 27, 2015

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* until 415 am CDT

* at 113 am CDT... the public reported flooding from earlier heavy
rain on Riverside Road north of western center. Rainfall amounts
of over 2 inches fell across parts of north central and
northwestern Tarrant County. Runoff across the rest of the County
may also result in some flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort
Worth... Grand Prairie... Mansfield... Bedford... Grapevine... Haltom
City... Keller... Hurst... Southlake... Watauga... Colleyville...
Benbrook... Saginaw... White Settlement and Azle.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
